Le Petit salon du 19M
Paris
le19M invited architect Aline Asmar d’Amman to imagine le Petit Salon, a discreet and poetic haven for receptions, conceived as a tribute to the exceptional savoir-faire of the resident Maisons d’art. Nestled within Rudy Ricciotti’s architectural creation bridging Paris and Aubervilliers, this intimate alcove celebrates the dialogue between heritage and contemporary creation.
Adorned with bespoke pieces born of collaborations between the architect and the artisans of le19M—some unveiled at the 2023 Design Parade Toulon, the space embodies Aline Asmar d’Amman’s signature vocabulary: sculpted materiality, narrative design, and literary resonance. Le Petit Salon becomes both sanctuary and story, where textures speak, and craftsmanship is elevated to art.
Evoking essential themes to the architect’s core philosophy—poetic materiality, haute craftsmanship, and evocative interiors—le Petit salon du 19M is an unexpected perched alcove, imbued with artistic and literary references. Its dreamlike decor is an invitation to sensory astonishment built around exceptional collaborations with the Maisons d’art residents at le19M. A unique narrative brings together words and textures that combine the architect’s drawing and the magic of writing with exceptional craftsmanship.
